Implementation Engineer II

As an Implementation Engineer at Vertafore, your primary responsibility will be to deliver value to customers through implementation, technical configurations, and providing technical recommendations and solutions to business problems. You will shape and improve the experience of key Vertafore clients by working cross-functionally across departments such as Customer Support, Account Management, Professional Services, and Product Management to guide the client and contribute to the future growth of the Services team. You will have the opportunity to be part of a cross-functional team serving key clients, requiring you to be a proactive self-starter, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and service-focused to nurture the client experience. Additionally, you should have a passion for getting into the technical details of an implementation and be excited to come up with new tools, processes, or solutions to complex problems. Key Responsibilities: - Develop forward-thinking, technical implementation recommendations aligned with clients' business objectives - Configure, create, and demonstrate the technical components of the Vertafore product suite using tools and expertise in system configuration, web services, JavaScript/jQuery - Configure data conversion environment and integration configurations for inbound and outbound based on implementation needs - Configure the product based on implementation requirements - Configure or design the required complex reports or integrations - Ability to consume, configure, and/or develop the product Web API based on customer requirements - Maintain deep industry and product expertise and share knowledge internally and externally Qualifications: - BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience - Advanced written and verbal communication skills - 2-3.8 years of work experience in SQL Server database with good knowledge in Database Objects, T-SQL, Debugging & Troubleshooting, Data Analysis, and Indexing - Technically savvy with an interest in technology and in deepening technical and software knowledge - Strong experience with RDBMS Data Structures and database concepts, preferably SQL - Experience with Web config files with appropriate App Pools, End Points, App Settings - Experience with ETL tools - Good to have exposure to SSRS, SSIS, Insurance Domain Knowledge, release deployment activities, Agile Methodology Additional Company Details: Vertafore is a leading technology company in the insurance industry, headquartered in Denver, Colorado, with offices across the U.S., Canada, and India.
