About the role
As a Senior Azure Data Engineer/Analytics, you will be responsible for designing and delivering scalable cloud-based data solutions. Your role will involve hands-on development in data engineering and modeling. Key Responsibilities: - Designing and developing data pipelines using ADF, Databricks (PySpark), ADLS, Delta Lake, and Azure SQL/Synapse. - Overseeing data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and optimization. - Driving data quality, security, and governance practices. - Guiding and mentoring data engineering and BI teams. - Supporting and enhancing Power BI dashboards, semantic models, and dataflows. - Translating business needs into scalable technical solutions. Qualifications Required: - Strong hands-on experience with ADF, Databricks, ADLS, Delta Lake, SQL, and CI/CD. - Solid understanding of data modeling (Star/Snowflake) and ETL/ELT patterns. - Databricks & Delta Lake Fundamentals. - Delta Lake Internals, Versioning & Transaction Logs. - Performance Optimization & Join Strategies. - Data Retrieval & Partitioning Strategies. - Data Processing with DataFrames. - Orchestration & Integration (ADF).
