About the role
As a member of the core team at Verve, your main responsibility will be to implement, optimize, and scale Verve's Android HyBid SDK ecosystem. You will be converting architectural initiatives into reliable, production-ready modules that run across millions of end-user devices. This role involves working on library and SDK development, which comes with challenges such as memory, threading, and performance constraints within external host applications. It is crucial to understand the differences between SDK development and standard app development for success in this position. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, refine, and optimize critical submodules of the Android HyBid SDK - Collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders to estimate feature effort and prioritize delivery - Work alongside the iOS team to ensure cross-platform parity and behavioral consistency - Contribute to technical refinement sessions, code reviews, and bug-resolution cycles - Implement and test integration layers supporting Google's Android Privacy Sandbox - Build and refine custom embedded crash-logging and exception-dump mechanism - Develop, test, and optimize mediation adapters and viewability tracking - Maintain and run continuous integration pipelines and automate testing frameworks Qualifications Required: - Strong competency in Kotlin and Java with a clear understanding of multi-threaded code execution - Experience in Android development, particularly in library development or SDKs - Familiarity with GCP/Google Cloud environments - Proficiency in modern Kotlin and foundational Java At Verve, you will have access to various benefits including Apollo Health Check-ups, Medical Insurance, Personalized Benefits Platform, office lunches through Zomato, annual training budget, paid vacation days, and more.
