Technical Support Engineer

Role & responsibilities. Provide support to all departments in hardware, software, and network related issues. Configure, install, and maintain IT systems. Configure, install and maintain laptops and workstations. Ensure that there is data security enabled like two factor authentication systems. Keep a close watch on system performance to ensure there is optimisation of system speeds and costs. Collaborate with external vendors to resolve specialise IT issues. Ensure passwords are not breached. Ensure confidential information is not moved from one workstation to another. Report any anomalous behaviour like data theft, identity mismatch. Install ERP systems on the workstations. Suggest workflow improvements in IT processes. Seek approvals from all stakeholders in the IT improvements processes-examine the As-Is and implement the Should-Be. Develop tools for digital security policy of the organisation and ensure that all the employees are aware of the policy and the repercussions of not following the same.
