AWS Engineer

About the internship: We are looking for a passionate AWS Engineer Intern to join Vimix Technologies LLP and work on real-world cloud infrastructure and automation projects. This internship offers hands-on experience in building, managing, and optimizing AWS environments while working closely with our product and DevOps teams. Selected Intern's Day-to-Day Responsibilities Include: Designing, developing, and maintaining AWS-based infrastructure using services like EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, VPC, CloudFormation, and CloudFront Monitoring and optimizing AWS costs using tools like Cost Explorer and implementing cost control strategies Creating automation scripts using Python (boto3) to streamline cloud operations Managing IAM roles, policies, and permissions to ensure secure access control Working with REST APIs, Git, and GitHub (including GitHub Copilot) to enhance development workflows Debugging and troubleshooting infrastructure issues across the AWS environment Implementing tagging strategies and resource organization for better management and billing Collaborating with DevOps teams to integrate Linux, shell scripting, and Docker into deployment pipelines Supporting the development of scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud architectures Documenting infrastructure setups, processes, and best practices Skills Required: AWS services: IAM, EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, CloudFormation, CloudFront CloudTrail and Cost Explorer Resource Groups and Tagging Cost optimization strategies Python programming (automation using boto3) REST APIs Git and GitHub (GitHub Copilot is a plus) Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Basic understanding of DevOps practices Linux and shell scripting Docker (preferred) Who can apply: Only those candidates can apply who: are available for full time (in-office) internship can start the internship between 9th Jul'26 and 13th Aug'26 are available for duration of 3 months are from Coimbatore only have relevant skills and interests * Women wanting to start/restart their career can also apply.
