Senior Consultant/Pega System Architect

As a Senior Consultant Pega Systems Architect, your role involves designing, developing, and implementing applications using Pega Platform (8.x) with Pega Constellation architecture. You will be working on Pega CRM applications (CPMi) to implement enterprise-level business solutions. In addition, you will manage and mentor a small team of developers, which includes work allocation, code reviews, and providing technical guidance. Utilizing Pega debugging tools to identify and resolve issues, especially during application upgrades, will be a crucial part of your responsibilities. Ensuring application performance by applying Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) concepts and SQL performance optimization techniques is also expected from you. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and implement applications using Pega Platform (8.x) with Pega Constellation architecture. - Work on Pega CRM applications (CPMi) and implement enterprise-level business solutions. - Manage and mentor a small team of developers, including work allocation, code reviews, and technical guidance. - Utilize Pega debugging tools to identify and resolve issues, especially during application upgrades. - Ensure application performance by applying Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) concepts and SQL performance optimization techniques. Qualifications Required: - Experience in Pega Constellation is mandatory. DPA-Pega-Basic-Pega Systems Architect (Engineer). - Experience working on Pega CRM Applications (CPMi). - Experience or knowledge of using Pega 8.0 and additional capabilities. Having Upgrade experience is a plus point. - Expertise and good understanding of Relational Database Management Systems, including DB Performance improvements and SQL Commands. - Solid fundamentals in Core Java & Object-Oriented concepts. - Good knowledge/experience in using Pega debugging tools and the ability to identify and debug any issues that occur during upgrades. - Manage a small team by assigning work, reviewing, and guiding them. - Good understanding of Pega Integrations (Services, Connectors, File Listeners, etc.). - Insurance domain knowledge is preferred, preferably Past NYL with knowledge in Life, LTC, AARP LOBs, and Products. - Good knowledge of the Insurance domain. Having NYL domain knowledge is a plus.
