Software Development Engineer Location HYD Campus, Hyderabad Years of Experience 7-10 Years Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer with a strong background in backend coding and database management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java development, particularly in the context of financial applications, and will play a key role in system integration and mentorship within the team. Key Responsibilities Backend Coding Write clean, efficient Java code for data processing and system integration. Database Management Design Oracle SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance-tuning scripts. System Integration Build and support interfaces linking Loan IQ with external downstream systems. Mentorship & Leadership Act as a technical reference point for junior developers on the team. Code Review Review code to ensure compliance with standards and optimal performance. Mandatory Skills Java Proficient in Core Java, Spring Boot, and multi-threading environments (8-10 years). Loan IQ 3-5 years of hands-on experience with the Loan IQ data model and APIs (Good to have). Database Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL skills, including query optimization (Must have). Tools Experience with Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD deployment pipelines (Must have). Communication Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders (Must have). Problem Solving Strong debugging skills across multi-tier financial applications (Must have). Preferred Skills Domain Knowledge Solid understanding of commercial lending, syndication, and loan servicing (Good to have). Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
