About the role
Power BI The Fabric Administrator manages organizationwide settings and resources within Microsoft Fabric. This role includes responsibilities such as user management, workspace administration, security, and capacity management. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement the Power BI self-service governance process. Create administration dashboards to monitor capacity usage by departments and more. Lead a team of business intelligence engineers in designing and delivering interactive Power BI dashboards that provide actionable insights to stakeholders. Contribute strategic thought leadership to shape the business intelligence vision and standards. Empower the analyst community through governance guidance, training, and cross-functional collaboration. Guide the Power BI communities by developing and acquiring content for Center of Excellence (COE) presentations. Design, build, and optimize data models to support analytics, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and efficiency. Stay ahead of emerging technologies, including Generative AI and AI agents, to identify opportunities that enhance analytics, automation, and decision-making across the enterprise. Manage and provide technical expertise and strategic guidance to direct reports, department peers, and cross-functional team members. Set goals, participate in strategic initiatives for the team, and foster the development of highperformance teams. Design and maintain scalable data pipelines and governance.
