About the role
Role Overview: You will be a highly motivated and skilled QA Automation and Functional Tester with expertise in the Open Banking domain. Your main responsibility will be to design, develop, and execute automated and manual tests to ensure the quality, reliability, and security of financial applications, with a focus on compliance with Open Banking standards such as PSD2, FAPI, and relevant local regulations. Open Banking experience is preferred but not mandatory. Additionally, any payments testing experience would be beneficial. Key Responsibilities: - Validate compliance of APIs and user interfaces against Open Banking standards and specifications, including data models, security profiles, and consent flows. - Test key Open Banking use cases, such as Account Information Services (AIS), Payment Initiation Services (PIS), and Confirmation of Funds (COF). - Conduct testing related to OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and Mutual TLS (mTLS) as implemented in Open Banking APIs. - Verify the accuracy and integrity of data sharing and customer consent mechanisms according to regulatory requirements. - Stay informed about evolving Open Banking regulations, standards, and security mandates. - Analyze product requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to design comprehensive, well-structured, and maintainable test cases and scenarios. - Execute manual functional, system integration, and regression tests. - Identify, document, and track defects using a defect management tool (e.g., JIRA), collaborating closely with development teams for resolution. - Perform backend data validation using SQL queries to ensure data integrity across various banking systems.
