About the role
Job Title: Lead – Systems Test & Validation Role Overview We are looking for an experienced engineer to join our Engineering team and take ownership of test and validation efforts for our next-generation autonomous platforms for material and people movement. As Lead – Systems Test & Validation , you will define and drive strategies to ensure our platforms operate safely, reliably, and as intended across diverse environments. This is a hands-on, system-level role requiring deep technical acumen and close cross-functional collaboration to build structured, scalable test processes. The position is based full-time in Bangalore, with occasional travel for field testing and on-site validation. Key Responsibilities Define and execute test and validation strategies for autonomous platforms Build and maintain test frameworks, tools, and setups for system and sub-system validation Develop structured test plans with clear coverage metrics tied to system requirements and safety goals Ensure traceability across requirements, test cases, and results Design and operate test rigs, instrumentation, and data logging setups Lead scenario-based testing for autonomy, safety, and failover features in simulation and field environments Collaborate with engineering teams for debugging and root-cause analysis Develop automated tools for data extraction, analysis, and reporting Support validation efforts aligned with industrial safety standards (e.g., ISO 3691-4) Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related field 5+ years of experience in system integration, testing, and validation of robotics, automotive, or embedded systems Exposure to systems engineering practices, including requirements decomposition, interface definitions, and system-level validation Strong grasp of robotics system architecture, including sensors, actuators, compute platforms, and network protocols Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages for test automation and data analysis Familiarity with V&V processes, traceability frameworks, and relevant tools Excellent communication skills and a field-focused approach to testing and triage
