Create a roadmap for migration of micro-services to Kubernetes in on-premises and cloud environment Create deployment architecture of the migration and present it to the customer Led a team of DevOps leads and engineers for execution of the migration. Led the team to provide production support post-migration Implement robust monitoring and alerting framework for operational excellence Implement best practices of Kubernetes migration, including various strategies of micro-services upgrade (Rolling / Canary / Blue-green) Non-Technical Qualifications: Quick learner with excellent presentation skills Excellent communication, both verbal and written skills Excellent team player as well as an individual contributor A result-oriented professional with flexibility towards changes in priorities. A highly motivated, self-driven and passionate individual Mandatory Skills Minimum five years of working experience in Kubernetes and Docker Development Background - Java / Python / etc. Design Experience / Solution Designing. Migration Experience into Kubernetes. Depth Experience into at least 4 - 5 areas from the below list: HPA (Horizontal Pod AutoScaler) - Kubernetes Cluster autoscaler - Kubernetes Ingress Controller - Kubernetes ClusterIP / NodePort / LoadBalancer - Kubernetes Monitoring - DevOps Measurement Log Aggregation - Architecture APM / Distributed Tracing - observability Service Mesh - Traffic Management - ISTIO Service Mesh - Security Management - ISO Release management with Helm Charts. Secondary Skills (Good to have) Experience in Istio integration in K8s / Micro-Services Deployment Experience in Prometheus integration in K8s for monitoring Micro-services level metrics Experience in using version control tools like GIT / GitHub / Bit Bucket etc Personal Characteristics: Self-driven and highly motivated Independent with a strong sense of ownership and urgency An appetite for learning and staying updated on the latest technology trends and industry standards Thrives in ambiguity
