Job Title Wintel L3 Engineer (Windows, VMware, Cloud, Active Directory) Experience 1012Years Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Wintel L3 Engineer responsible for managing enterprise Windows infrastructure, virtualization platforms, and cloud environments. The role involves acting as an escalation point, driving complex troubleshooting, and ensuring high availability, security, and performance of IT systems. Key Responsibilities 1. Windows Server & Infrastructure Administer and support Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022) Perform installation, configuration, patching, and performance tuning Troubleshoot OS-level issues, system failures, and service outages Manage server lifecycle including provisioning, upgrades, and decommissioning (Aligned with AD L3 role description and enterprise Windows support responsibilities) [Requisitio.3 Engineer | Outlook] 2. Active Directory & Identity Management Act as L3 escalation point for AD-related issues Manage AD forests, domains, trusts, replication Handle DNS, DHCP, Group Policy (GPO) management Perform AD audits, health checks, and security hardening Implement RBAC, access controls, and identity security practices [Requisitio.3 Engineer | Outlook] 3. VMware / Virtualization Manage VMware environments (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter) Perform VM provisioning, snapshots, cloning, HA/DRS, migrations (P2V/V2V) Handle cluster configuration, performance tuning, and capacity planning Troubleshoot virtualization-related issues and ensure uptime (Aligned with virtualization activities and responsibilities in infrastructure scope) [SOW 2022 31-01-2022 | Word] 4. Cloud & Hybrid Infrastructure Support Azure/AWS cloud environments and hybrid setups Manage VM deployments, networking, and cloud integrations Work on AD integration with cloud (Azure AD / Hybrid Identity) Participate in cloud migration and transformation initiatives 5. Incident, Problem & Change Management Handle P1/P2 critical incidents and lead root cause analysis (RCA) Act as technical escalation point (L3) for operations teams Participate in ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change) Ensure SLA adherence and service stability 6. Security, Compliance & Automation Implement server hardening, patching, and security compliance Support audit requirements and vulnerability remediation Automate tasks using PowerShell / scripting tools Maintain documentation (SOPs, runbooks, architecture diagrams) 7. Monitoring & Performance Management Monitor infrastructure using enterprise tools Perform capacity planning and performance optimization Proactively identify issues and implement preventive measures Required Skills Strong expertise in Windows Server administration Hands-on experience with Active Directory (AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP) Solid experience in VMware virtualization (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter) Exposure to Cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / Hybrid) Scripting knowledge ( PowerShell preferred ) Good understanding of ITIL processes Preferred Skills Experience with Azure AD, ADFS, Hybrid Identity Knowledge of automation (Ansible / Terraform) Exposure to monitoring tools and enterprise ITSM tools Soft Skills Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Excellent communication and stakeholder handling Ability to work in high-pressure environments and on-call support .
