About the role
- Production Monitoring: - Monitor production processes in chemical plants and manufacturing facilities - Observe manufacturing operations and ensure they run smoothly - Monitor chemical reactions and processes during production - Track production output and quality metrics daily 2. Maintenance: - Conduct maintenance on chemical processing equipment - Perform basic maintenance on laboratory equipment for safety and accuracy - Inspect pumps, valves, reactors, and other equipment - Report equipment issues to senior engineers immediately 3. Safety Standards: - Ensure safety standards compliance at all times - Follow chemical safety protocols and handling procedures - Conduct safety inspections of work areas - Identify potential hazards and report them to supervisors 4. Testing & Quality Control: - Assist with testing and validation of products and raw materials - Perform chemical testing in laboratory settings - Accurately record and document test data, observations, and results - Maintain organized records of all testing activities - Conduct environmental, mechanical, electrical, or chemical testing 5. Process Development: - Assist in developing and refining test methodologies and procedures - Develop processes for separation of liquid and chemical types - Learn chemical, biochemical, and physical state changes of substances - Study raw materials conversion into everyday products 6. Documentation & Reporting: - Draft clear and concise technical reports summarizing test results - Complete all tasks set by the supervisor - Prepare calibration records for equipment - Compile data and create presentations for stakeholders 7. Troubleshooting: - Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot product failures - Diagnose unexpected test results and propose solutions - Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements - Solve technical problems in chemical processes 8. Learning & Development: - Learn from mentors and senior engineers - Participate in training sessions and workshops - Study industry standards and technical drawings - Expand chemical engineering knowledge continuously - Submit to all forms of evaluation during traineeship Compensation: 11,600.22 - 16,000.00 per month Perks: - Flexible schedule - Provident Fund Work Location: In person 1.
