Job Details Description Enabling a software-defined, electrified future, Visteon is a technology company that develops and builds innovative digital cockpit and electrification products at the leading-edge of the mobility revolution Founded in 2000, Visteon brings decades of automotive intelligence combined with Silicon Valley speed to apply global insights that help transform the software-defined vehicle of the future for many of the worlds largest OEMs The company employs 10,000 employees in 18 countries around the globe To know more about us click here, Qualification, Experience and Skills: 8+ years of experience in automotive embedded software development and delivery, specifically within In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) systems, Proven experience in Android development within an automotive context, Experience managing distributed, multi-cultural development teams across different time zones is highly preferred, Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and deployment, Strong practical experience with Agile methodologies and tools, including Jira, Minimum of 3 years of experience in a software project management role, demonstrating successful project execution and delivery, Proficient in project management principles and practices for the execution of automotive software development projects, including risk management, resource allocation, and budget control, Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in embedded systems (e-g , C, C++, Java) and experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS), Familiarity with standard design techniques using UML tools (e-g , Enterprise Architect, Rhapsody), Experience with software configuration management tools (e-g , Git), Proven ability to work effectively as a team player with excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with all levels of a global, matrixed organization, Japanese language proficiency is a significant advantage, What you will do: Represents the customer, interfaces, and engages the customer (PDTL/Program Manager/PSL/OEM), Creates and manages software Feature Implementation Plan with product level plan, Creates and maintains the Software Product Backlog, Manages external (customer DCRs) and internal change requests through software backlog items, Prioritizes and sequences the software backlog items according to product level timing plan, Works with systems team, design champion/software architect to create Epics and converts them into stories that are granular enough to be achieved in a single sprint along with acceptance criteria, Ensures stories are made clear to the scrum team and requirements related impediments are resolved on time in coordination with systems requirements team, Negotiates budget requirements / expectations with the program management in consultation with the Technical Delivery Manager(s), Supports Technical Delivery Manager(s) to define lower-level sprint plans in alignment with project level plans, Nice to have: Experience with CI/CD tools, Configuration Management, and/or experience with installing, Experience participating in Scrum/Kanban, Agile workflow methodologies, Certified Agile Product Owner/ Scrum Master, Visteon Culture: If you thrive in a fast-paced, organizational culture that requires agility, adaptability, and a growth mindset from its employees to thrive and stay ahead of the curve Visteon is the place We value high performance and a drive for results Innovation, risk-taking, and continuous learning help us keep up with the ever-changing landscape of our industry and be Market leaders At Visteon you can be more,
