Company: Nerdience Technologies Employment Type: Internship Duration: 3 Months Location: Hybrid About Nerdience Technologies Nerdience Technologies is a technology-driven company focused on delivering scalable, reliable, and innovative software solutions. We are looking for a motivated SRE Intern who is passionate about cloud infrastructure, automation, and system reliability. Key Responsibilities - Assist in monitoring application and infrastructure performance. - Support the maintenance of cloud environments and server infrastructure. - Help troubleshoot production and staging issues under the guidance of senior engineers. - Assist in automating operational tasks using scripting and DevOps tools. - Monitor logs, system metrics, and alerts to ensure service reliability. - Participate in incident documentation and root cause analysis. - Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve system performance and uptime. - Learn and implement Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices. Required Skills - Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems. - Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP). - Basic scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Shell. - Familiarity with Git and version control. - Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an advantage. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Eagerness to learn and work in a collaborative environment. Eligibility - Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, or monitoring tools is a plus.
