Senior Magento Engineer

As a Magento Senior Backend Engineer, you will work with a team of software architects and developers to design, develop, and test quality code to meet customer specifications. Role Overview: You will work in a project team to deliver high-quality code within deadlines. Your responsibilities include clear communication of tasks and milestones, realistic estimation of delivery timescales, problem-solving using provided tools, creating robust solutions, taking some responsibilities from the senior/lead developer, leading technical discussions, and mentoring junior developers. You will be expected to be a motivated self-starter. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the development and implementation of Magento e-commerce solutions. - Integrate Magento and non-Magento systems. - Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers. - Utilize extensive Magento development experience. - Code in PHP/Java languages with experience in data structures. - Have exposure to web technologies, object-oriented software design patterns, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript. - Demonstrate familiarity with Windows or Linux operating systems. - Possess strong spoken and written communication skills. Qualifications Required: - Experience delivering software as part of a team. - Familiarity with Spring. - Knowledge of webservices technologies such as SOAP, REST, JSON. - Understanding of relational database platforms like Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL. - Knowledge of NoSQL database platforms such as Cassandra or MongoDB. - Familiarity with message queuing systems like Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ. - Contributions to open-source projects are a plus.
