About the role
Position Overview : We are looking for a QA Lead to own and drive quality assurance across Volo Health's insurance technology and healthcare fintech platforms. Reporting directly to the Technology Head, you will define testing strategies, build automation frameworks, and ensure release-ready quality for systems that handle claims processing, provider integrations, member services, and payments. This is a hands-on leadership role suited for someone with 28 years of experience who combines strong technical testing skills with the ability to mentor a team and enforce quality standards. Key Details : - Experience : 2-8 years - Reporting To : Technology Head - Open Positions : 1 Education : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field. - ISTQB, CSTE, or other relevant QA certifications are an advantage. Technical Skills : - 2-8 years of professional experience in software quality assurance, with at least 1 year in a lead or senior QA role. - Strong experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium. - Proficiency in writing test scripts using Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript. - Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar. - Solid understanding of software testing methodologies functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build workflows (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI). - Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr. - Working knowledge of relational databases and ability to write SQL queries for data validation. - Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, k6, or Locust. - Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
