Cloud & Network Engineer

Job Summary : We are seeking a skilled Cloud & Network Engineer with hands-on AWS experience to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available cloud and network infrastructures. The role involves managing cloud-based services, networking, security, and automation to ensure seamless operations across hybrid and cloud environments.Key Responsibilities : - Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, Route 53, etc.).- Configure and monitor network architecture including firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and routing protocols.- Manage hybrid cloud connectivity (on-premises to AWS) using Direct Connect, VPN tunnels, and transit gateways.- Implement cloud security best practices IAM policies, security groups, encryption, and compliance controls.- Automate infrastructure provisioning and monitoring using Terraform/CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar tools.- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across cloud, network, and application layers.- Collaborate with DevOps, security, and application teams to optimize infrastructure for scalability and cost-efficiency.- Conduct disaster recovery planning, backup strategies, and high availability implementations.- Stay updated with emerging cloud and networking technologies and recommend improvements.Required Skills & Qualifications : - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.- 2 - 5 years of experience in cloud engineering and networking roles.- Strong hands-on expertise in AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, ELB, etc.).- Proficiency in network administration (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Firewalls, Routing, Switching).- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).- Knowledge of Linux/Windows server administration in cloud environments.- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).- Understanding of security best practices in AWS and network management.- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
