About the role
As a skilled Cloud & Network Engineer with hands-on AWS experience, your role will involve designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available cloud and network infrastructures. You will be responsible for managing cloud-based services, networking, security, and automation to ensure seamless operations across hybrid and cloud environments. Key Responsibilities: - Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, and Route 53. - Configure and monitor network architecture with firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and routing protocols. - Manage hybrid cloud connectivity using Direct Connect, VPN tunnels, and transit gateways. - Implement cloud security best practices such as IAM policies, security groups, encryption, and compliance controls. - Automate infrastructure provisioning and monitoring using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar. - Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across cloud, network, and application layers. - Collaborate with DevOps, security, and application teams to optimize infrastructure for scalability and cost-efficiency. - Conduct disaster recovery planning, backup strategies, and high availability implementations. - Stay updated with emerging cloud and networking technologies and recommend improvements. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - 2 - 5 years of experience in cloud engineering and networking roles. - Strong hands-on expertise in AWS services like EC2, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and ELB. - Proficiency in network administration including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Firewalls, Routing, and Switching. - Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation. - Knowledge of Linux/Windows server administration in cloud environments. - Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana. - Understanding of security best practices in AWS and network management. - Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
