About the role
As a Thermal Energy Systems Engineer at Voltanova, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing high-temperature thermal energy systems. Your responsibilities will include: - Performing process and thermal calculations for heat exchangers and Thermal Energy Storage (TES) systems. - Preparing specification sheets and detailed fabrication drawings for manufacturing. - Reviewing and finalizing manufacturing drawings to ensure accuracy and quality. - Overseeing the fabrication process in coordination with the manufacturing team. - Validating and enhancing designs through thermal simulations to optimize performance. - Participating in the Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) process as required to maintain high standards. To excel in this role, you should have proven expertise in thermal energy systems, heat exchangers, and high-temperature materials. You should also possess a strong understanding of steam cycles, boiler systems, and process engineering principles. Familiarity with ASME, IBR, API, and Indian Standards is essential, along with proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
