Manual and Automation Engineer

Job Description:We are looking for a skilled Manual and Automation Engineer with 2-3 years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in manual testing with proven experience writing detailed test cases and should also have some hands-on experience in automation testing to enhance the overall test coverage.Responsibilities:Manual Testing:Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test cases for functional, regression, and exploratory testing.Identify, document, and track software defects, and work with development teams to resolve them.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers and product managers to understand and clarify requirements.Perform UI/UX, cross-browser, and compatibility testing for web and mobile applications.Ensure adherence to testing standards and QA best practices throughout the development cycle.Automation Testing:Design and implement automation test scripts using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or equivalent.Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks to increase efficiency and coverage.Collaborate with the DevOps team to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.Conduct performance and load testing to validate application behavior under various conditions.Requirements:2-3 years of experience in manual and automation testing.Experience in writing detailed test cases and executing manual tests across multiple platforms.Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java) for automation tasks.Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) and version control systems (e.g., Git).Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and best practices.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in mobile testing and automation.Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Bamboo.ISTQB certification or relevant qualifications are a plus.Benefits:Competitive salary package.Opportunities for professional growth and development.Collaborative and supportive team environment. .
