Lets introduce ourselves As a Salesforce Support Engineer - Release Manager, you will drive digital innovation by leading critical technology initiatives with global teams. Youll design and implement solutions that impact millions of users worldwide, supporting Volvos vision for autonomous, electric, and connected vehicles. What youll do Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership & Development Lead development and implementation using Apex Custom APIs, Apex Debugging and Logging, Apex Integration with External Systems, Apex Optimization and Best Practices, Azure DevOps, REST API Development, Salesforce Apex Development, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Platform Administration, Salesforce Sales Cloud, and Salesforce Service Cloud. Design, build, and maintain scalable solutions supporting APEC operations. Collaborate with APEC stakeholders across product management and engineering teams. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with international teams using Microsoft Teams, Slack, SharePoint, and Azure DevOps. Participate actively in Agile processes and sprint planning. Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation across regions. Support 24/7 operations through on-call rotations and incident management. Innovation & Continuous Improvement Research and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance platform capabilities. Contribute to roadmap planning and architecture decisions. Mentor junior team members and foster knowledge sharing initiatives. What youll bring Required Qualifications Professional Experience 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development, system administration, or related fields. Deep expertise in Salesforce Apex Development, Apex Debugging and Logging, Apex Integration with External Systems, and Salesforce Architecture with proven implementation success. Experience collaborating effectively with global teams across multiple time zones. Industry knowledge in automotive, manufacturing, or enterprise software (preferred). Technical Skills Advanced proficiency in Apex Custom APIs, Apex Debugging and Logging, Apex Integration with External Systems, Apex Optimization and Best Practices, Azure DevOps, REST API Development, Salesforce Apex Development, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Platform Administration, Salesforce Sales Cloud, and Salesforce Service Cloud. Strong understanding of cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with enterprise integration patterns and microservices architecture. Proficiency in database design and optimization using SQL and NoSQL technologies.
