What you will do We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to develop, validate, and maintain embedded software for vehicle electrical and electronic systems.

The role will support end-to-end embedded software development activities, including model-based design, implementation, integration, testing, and continuous improvement of software development processes.

The engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery that meets QDCF targets across all product development phases.

Main Tasks / Responsibilities / Authorities

Develop and maintain embedded software for vehicle applications using Simulink, C/C++, and Python Support model-based software development, including design, implementation, verification, and validation Develop new software features for both traditional and e-mobility applications Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient software integration, automated testing, and delivery Support software integration, debugging, and troubleshooting on target hardware and in test environments Contribute to software architecture discussions and implementation of scalable, maintainable solutions Provide technical support to other teams for product improvement and new product development Support testing activities in the evaluation and verification of design solutions Track and implement new embedded software development processes and continuously optimize existing methods and tools Who are you? Key Skills

Embedded software development and software lifecycle management Strong hands-on experience with Simulink, C/C++, Python Knowledge of CI/CD tools, automation, and DevOps practices for software development Experience with model-based development and embedded system integration Understanding of automotive or heavy vehicle electrical and electronic systems Quality tools and methods Problem solving and analytical thinking Communication and coordination in cross-functional teams Knowledge of product development processes Familiarity with common engineering tools such as Visio and MS Office

Required Knowledge & Experience

Education / Professional Qualifications

Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline, or a Bachelor’s degree with substantial relevant experience

Experience

Experience in embedded software development, preferably in automotive, heavy-duty vehicles, or related industries Experience with software integration and verification activities Experience working in agile or iterative development environments is an advantage Broad interest in technology, especially within the area of heavy vehicles Strong intuitive and analytical ability to resolve problems

Additional Important Requirements

Strong written and oral communication skills in English Good collaboration and stakeholder management skills Ability to work in cross-functional and international teams Self-driven, structured, and result-oriented mindset
