About NATS Apprenticeship Program

National Apprenticeship Training Scheme is a program where Volvo India engages freshly graduated individuals for year-long apprenticeships, providing them with practical training and skill development opportunities across various functions within Financial Services. This program serves as a structured approach to building a strong talent pipeline by preparing future workforce members.

Role Overview

As a Graduate Apprentice Trainee in the Warranty & Service function, you will gain hands-on exposure to warranty operations, service processes, dealer support, and data analysis. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support warranty claim validation, reporting, and performance monitoring, contributing to continuous business improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Business Intelligence & Reporting

Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance existing Power BI reports and dashboards

Develop new visualizations and KPIs based on business requirements

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reports

Optimize report performance and usability

Data Analytics

Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources including machine telemetry, service records, dealer systems, and operational databases

Identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities through data analysis

Generate regular and ad-hoc analytical reports for management review

Present findings and recommendations using dashboards and presentations

Alert & Monitoring Solutions

Analyze machine data to identify potential failure patterns and operational issues

Design and develop rule-based or data-driven alert mechanisms

Collaborate with technical teams to implement monitoring and notification systems

Validate and continuously improve alert accuracy and effectiveness

Dealer & Service Coordination

Track and monitor open ActiveCare cases

Follow up with dealers on pending actions

Maintain accurate records of case status and resolutions

Process Improvement & Automation

Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting and tracking activities

Develop simple scripts, workflows, or tools to improve operational efficiency

Qualifications

  • Fresher – Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Data Science, Electronics, or related field (Only 2024 or 2025 pass outs)

  • Required Skills and Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Good understanding of databases and data structures

  • Proficiency in Microsoft ExcelFamiliarity with SQL and data querying concepts

  • Basic understanding of Power BI or other BI tools

  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

  • Learning and Development Opportunities

  • Gain hands-on experience in Business Intelligence tools and reporting frameworks

  • Develop skills in data analysis, visualization, and storytelling

  • Learn to work with machine data, telemetry, and operational datasets

  • Understand predictive analysis and alert-based monitoring systems

  • Gain exposure to dealer ecosystems and service operations

  • Participate in automation and process improvement initiatives

  • Enhance communication and professional effectiveness through structured training programs
