About the role
Job Title: DevOps/Sys Admin Intern We are looking for a DevOps/Sys Admin Intern who is passionate about technology and eager to gain hands-on experience in deploying, managing, and optimizing IT infrastructure. In this role, you will work closely with our DevOps and System Administration teams to support our software development and operations. Responsibilities: 1. Assist in managing and monitoring our IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services. 2. Collaborate with DevOps engineers to automate deployment processes and improve system reliability. 4. Participate in implementing and maintaining security measures to protect our systems and data. 5. Support system backups, disaster recovery planning, and system upgrades. 6. Contribute to documentation of systems, processes, and configurations. 7. Assist in evaluating and implementing current technologies to enhance our infrastructure. Requirements: 1. Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 2. Basic understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems. 3. Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). 4. Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell. 5. Interest in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (e.g., Git). 6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 7. Ability to work collaboratively in a team workplace. 8. Good communication skills and a desire to learn and grow in the field of IT infrastructure. Duration and Compensation: This is a paid internship position with a duration of 6 months. Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.
