Environment Engineer

Qualification B.Tech(Civil) + Masters in Environmental Engineering / Management Job Description Undertaking Environmental screening,Carrying out Environment and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) studies,Preparing of Environment and Social Management Plan (ESMP) for projects related to Jetty/ Terminal locations, waterside, shoreside construction areas, etc. Undertaking Environmental and Social Monitoring programs to ensure effective implementation of ESMP in line with the World Banks Environmental and Social Framework (ESF). Support in obtaining and managing statutory environmental clearances, CRZ clearance (if applicable), and NOCs from SPCBs and MoEFCC. Support in drafting ToRs, tender documents, and environmental sections of technical reports. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, local communities, and government bodies on environmental issues Desired Profile Experience years in EIA studies, ESMP preparation and monitoring Prior experience with World Bank/ADB/JICA-funded projects or knowledge of World Bank ESF/OPs is an added advantage Environmental laws and regulations knowledge Report writing and communication skillsProject management Strong coordination and communication skills, especially with multidisciplinary teams and local authorities
