Job Description Job Title: Full stack Developer -MLK Department : OpenStack Location : Mumbai Role Description We are seeking a talented Full stack Developer for our dynamic team, focused on delivering innovative software solutions for large-scale enterprise-level applications. You will play a critical role in the development of a modern German life insurance platform, specializing in cloud-based runoff solutions for the insurance sector. Key Responsibilities Develop IT Systems & Projects: Lead the development and management of IT systems, specifically related to cloud-based runoff platforms for German life insurance. Analyze Requirements: Independently analyze business requirements and create detailed technical solutions. Concept Creation: Develop both business and technical concepts, including rough and detailed documentation. Software Development: Utilize modern development methodologies to design, implement, and test software solutions. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth business and technical integration. Technical Skills Key Competencies & Skills: Proficiency in Life Factory domain knowledge and Java development. Nice To Have Knowledge of current insurance market trends and relevant business processes. Ability to assess market development and its impact on requirements engineering. Identify improvement opportunities in requirements engineering and actively promote change. Translate customer demands into actionable IT requirements with a clear view of future needs. Behavioral Skills A strong willingness to learn and adapt to changing requirements. A proactive approach to identifying challenges and proposing solutions. Ability to understand the broader scope of business issues. Soft Skills Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Effective presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal. Previous Experience & Qualifications Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology. Candidates with a non-computer science degree must have at least 1 year of relevant experience. An MBA in IT/Insurance/Finance is also a consideration for roles like Requirements Engineer and Test Engineer. Certifications: Not mandatory. Years of Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in software development. Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand business needs. An urge to understand the criticality of data correctness in systems. Ability to understand the structure of business requirements and ensure that developers understand what is needed to meet business goals.
