Senior Full Stack Developer PHP | WordPress | BigCommerce | Shopify | Magento 2 Experience 5 - 6 Years Job Type Full-Time Location Coimbatore WFO Department Engineering / Web Development Reports To Team Lead Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with 5 to 6 years of hands-on experience in PHP, MySQL/SQL, CSS, and JavaScript, Jquery along with strong expertise in building and customizing solutions on WordPress, BigCommerce, Shopify, and Magento 2. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable eCommerce and web applications, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, performance-driven solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications and eCommerce storefronts using PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, including themes, plugins, and custom post types. Develop and manage online storefronts and integrations on BigCommerce and Shopify, including custom apps, themes, and API integrations. Develop, customize, and maintain Magento 2 modules, themes, extensions, and third-party integrations. Translate business requirements and UI/UX designs into clean, efficient, and reusable code. Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, shipping providers, and ERP/CRM systems. Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues across multiple eCommerce platforms. Stay current with platform updates, security patches, and industry best practices across WordPress, BigCommerce, Shopify, and Magento 2. Required Skills Qualifications 4+ years of professional experience in PHP-based web development. Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and jQuery. Proven hands-on experience with WordPress (custom theme/plugin development, ACF, WooCommerce a plus). Solid experience developing and customizing storefronts on BigCommerce (Stencil framework, APIs). Strong experience with Shopify (Liquid templating, Shopify APIs, custom app development). In-depth knowledge of Magento 2 architecture, including module development, layout XML, and the Magento admin/backend. Experience with MySQL and relational database design and optimization. Familiarity with RESTful APIs, SOAP, and third-party service integrations. Understanding of version control systems (Git/Bitbucket). Knowledge of MVC frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, or similar) is a plus. Experience with responsive and mobile-first design principles. Familiarity with basic DevOps practices (deployment pipelines, server configuration) is a plus. Ability to work independently and within a team. Education Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
