IT Administrator Infrastructure & Security Location: Pune (On-site) Experience: 3–5 Years Company: Vsquare Systems Pvt Ltd Role Overview Vsquare Systems Pvt Ltd is looking for a proactive and hands-on IT Administrator to manage and maintain the company’s internal IT infrastructure, user systems, network environment, and security controls. The role involves managing Microsoft 365 administration, Sophos firewall and endpoint security, employee laptop provisioning, IT asset management, and internal network operations . The candidate will also support implementation of information security best practices and ISO 27001 readiness within the organization. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing internal IT operations for a growing IT services company . Key Responsibilities Microsoft 365 & User Administration Create and manage user accounts, email IDs, and access permissions . Administer Microsoft 365 environment including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint. Manage password resets, security policies, distribution groups, and mailbox management . Monitor and manage Microsoft license allocation and renewals . Laptop Provisioning & IT Asset Management Prepare and configure laptops for new employee onboarding , including OS setup, security policies, and required applications. Maintain inventory of laptops, accessories, and IT infrastructure assets . Manage device allocation, return, repairs, warranty tracking, and vendor coordination . Maintain an IT asset register and device lifecycle records . Network & Infrastructure Management Manage office LAN, internet connectivity, routers, switches, and Wi-Fi infrastructure . Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues . Ensure secure network configuration and maintain network documentation. Firewall & Network Security Configure and manage Sophos Firewall including access rules, security policies, VPN configuration, and traffic monitoring. Monitor firewall logs and investigate potential security alerts. Manage secure remote access and VPN connectivity . Endpoint Security Management Implement and manage Sophos Endpoint Security / Endpoint Protection across employee devices. Monitor endpoint alerts and ensure protection against malware and security threats. Ensure devices receive regular security updates and patches . Software & License Management Install and maintain standard company software including Microsoft Office, development tools, VPN clients, and security software . Track and manage software licenses and renewals . Ensure systems remain updated with latest patches and security updates . IT Support & Troubleshooting Provide day-to-day technical support to employees for laptop, email, network, and application issues. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity problems . Maintain documentation related to system configurations and IT processes . Information Security & Compliance Support Support implementation of information security policies and controls aligned with ISO 27001 practices. Maintain records related to asset allocation, access management, and security configurations . Assist in maintaining security documentation and supporting internal audits. Operational Ownership & Availability The role requires high ownership of internal IT operations to ensure smooth functioning of company systems. The candidate should be responsive to critical IT issues and operational requirements when needed , including urgent situations outside regular working hours. Ability to independently manage and monitor the organization’s IT environment to minimize downtime and security risks . Required Skills Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 / Office 365 administration Experience managing Sophos Firewall Experience with Sophos Endpoint Security / Endpoint Protection Strong knowledge of Windows laptop configuration and troubleshooting Basic understanding of LAN/WAN networking, routers, switches, and Wi-Fi setup Experience managing IT assets and device lifecycle Preferred Skills Familiarity with ISO 27001 information security practices Experience with Azure / Entra ID / Intune Knowledge of VPN setup and remote access Understanding of backup and disaster recovery practices Educational Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology / Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent experience. Ideal Candidate Profile Candidate who has managed complete internal IT operations for an IT company (50–200 employees) including Microsoft 365 administration, firewall management, endpoint security, laptop provisioning, and network infrastructure.
