As a Backend .NET Core API Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core 6/7/8 following REST best practices. Your key responsibilities will include: - Writing and maintaining OpenAPI / Swagger documentation consumed directly by the Angular frontend team - Implementing JWT Bearer authentication, refresh tokens, and role-based access control (RBAC) - Building versioned APIs (/api/v1/, /api/v2/) to support backward-compatible frontend releases - Handling global error handling, request validation (FluentValidation), and standardized JSON response format - Using async/await throughout for high-throughput, non-blocking API services In terms of database management using MySQL & Entity Framework Core, you will be expected to: - Design normalized MySQL schemas to support complex product, user, and transactional data - Utilize EF Core Code-First with Fluent API for schema definition, relationships, and migrations - Write optimized SQL: use EXPLAIN, indexes, and query rewrites to keep API response times under 200ms - Manage EF Core migrations across dev, staging, and production environments safely - Implement database transactions for multi-step operations to ensure data consistency For Frontend Angular Development, you will need to: - Build Angular 14+ single-page applications (SPA) that consume .NET Core APIs - Implement Angular routing with lazy-loaded feature modules for optimal load performance - Use RxJS Observables and HttpClient with interceptors for API communication and token handling - Manage application state using NgRx or shared services with OnPush change detection strategy - Build reactive forms with validation, handle API errors gracefully, and display user-friendly messages - Write unit tests for Angular components and services using Jasmine/Karma or Jest In the realm of Microservices Architecture, your tasks will include: - Designing and implementing microservices with explicit bounded contexts and single responsibilities - Setting up API Gateway (Ocelot / YARP) as the single entry point for the Angular frontend - Implementing resilience patterns retry and circuit breaker using Polly in .NET Core services - Integrating async messaging with RabbitMQ or Azure Service Bus for event-driven communication - Implementing OpenTelemetry-based distributed tracing across services When it comes to Docker & Kubernetes, you will be required to: - Write multi-stage Dockerfiles for both .NET Core API and Angular (nginx-served) applications - Managing docker-compose for local development stacks: API + Angular + MySQL + Adminer - Writing and maintaining Kubernetes manifests: Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Ingress, HPA - Deploying and operating workloads on Kubernetes clusters (AKS / EKS / GKE / on-prem) - Implementing zero-downtime rolling deployments with readiness and liveness probes As part of the CI/CD & DevOps responsibilities, you will: - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps) for both frontend and backend - Automate Docker image builds, unit test runs, and Kubernetes deployments in pipelines - Manage environment-specific secrets and config across dev, staging, and production - Collaborate with DevOps for Helm chart management and environment promotion workflows If you have any additional details of the company in the job description, please provide them for a more comprehensive understanding.
