Windows Administrator

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Windows Administrator (L2) to manage, monitor, and support Windows-based infrastructure. The candidate will handle escalated issues, ensure system stability, and maintain high availability of servers and services. Key Responsibilities: Manage and support Windows Server environments (2012/2016/2019/2022) Handle L2 level incidents, service requests, and problem management Monitor server health, performance, and availability Perform user administration (Active Directory, Group Policies) Troubleshoot OS performance, CPU, memory, disk utilization Manage Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, File & Print servers Perform patch management and updates Handle backup and restore operations Work on incident management tools (ServiceDesk, ticketing systems) Coordinate with L3 teams/vendors for critical issues Maintain documentation (SOPs, RCA, reports) Ensure adherence to ITIL processes Technical Skills Required: Windows Server Administration Active Directory & Group Policy DNS, DHCP Monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix) Backup tools (Veeam, Veritas) Virtualization (VMware / Hyper-V) Basic networking (IP, subnetting) PowerShell scripting (basic) Patch management tools (WSUS, SCCM) Soft Skills: Good communication skills Strong troubleshooting and analytical ability Ability to work in 24x7 shift environment Team player with proactive approach Key Deliverables / KPIs: SLA adherence for incident resolution System uptime and availability Timely patching and compliance Quality of RCA and documentation
