About the role
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead engineering operations within a precision bearing manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for driving manufacturing excellence, supporting new product development, optimizing production processes, improving quality, and leading a team of manufacturing engineers. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with bearing manufacturing , metal stamping , machining , tooling , and continuous improvement initiatives in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor the Manufacturing Engineering team.
Develop and improve manufacturing processes for bearing components and assemblies.
Design and implement tooling, manufacturing methods, and process improvements.
Support new product launches from concept through production.
Review customer drawings and ensure manufacturability.
Collaborate with Production, Quality, Tool Room, Sales, and Customer Service teams.
Lead engineering projects, including timelines, budgets, and implementation.
Resolve manufacturing and technical issues while improving productivity and quality.
Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support ISO-compliant manufacturing processes and quality systems.
Develop engineering documentation, work instructions, process controls, and engineering change notices.
Reduce manufacturing costs through process optimization and tooling improvements.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline preferred.
5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience in bearing manufacturing is strongly preferred.
Experience with: Metal stamping
Progressive die design
Machining
Assembly processes
Tooling design
Working knowledge of GD&T and blueprint interpretation.
Experience using AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
Strong project management and leadership skills.
Experience supporting ISO-certified manufacturing environments is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary: $140,000 - $160,000
