About the role
Role: Design Engineer
Job Type: Full-Time Location: Newport News, Virginia Your mission: Activity: Industry, heavy machinery, automation. Technical assistance, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting. Support and assist on-site team Support mechanical supervisor and technicians for any design related questions Prepare and follow technical documentation Perform design and optimization efforts of current fixtures deployed at client facility Assist client with engineering requests related to current and future fixtures Provide regular feedback of fixture to headquarters In conjunction with the onsite team, perform initial engineering study of client requests for development of scope and budget requests What you bring: 0-2 years of experience Degree in mechanical engineering or similar technical expertise Ability to interpret/create technical drawings 3D modelling software knowledge, CATIA preferably Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems Fast-thinking and know how to adapt quickly to any situation Attention to detail and quality Must have a valid driver's license and a clean criminal record What we offer: Long track record of steady growth, new projects and great challenges every day Competitive compensation and benefits package including 401(k) pension plan, health, dental, vision, and life insurance Dynamic international working environment Entrepreneurial attitude and innovation mind set encouraged Stable family company with long-term strategic development Friendly atmosphere and teamwork
