About the role
Deep understanding of hardware subsystems (BMC, PCIe, CPU, GPU, etc.)
Proven experience with hardware qualification for production release (SKU Qual)
Experience testing component subsystems for existing SKUs (Component Qual)
Strong Linux systems experience including networking, configuration management, security, monitoring, and alerting
Firmware testing and deployment (Firmware Qual)
Strong automation mindset; Python mandatory
Expertise with orchestration tools: Salt, Chef, Ansible, or Puppet
Strong documentation and communication skills
Bonus Skills Hands‑on experience with HPC clusters (NVIDIA / AMD)
Wide‑scale automated testing experience (NCCL, similar frameworks)
Qualification automation framework development
What You'll Be Working On

Onsite support for hardware qualification at NYC3 and SFO2

Qualification of new server SKUs (Compute, GPU Hypervisor, Storage, Infrastructure)

Hardware validation against functional and performance targets

Hardware reconfiguration to support multiple test efforts

Platform onboarding and integration troubleshooting

Firmware, BIOS, and kernel upgrades and testing

Performance testing, analysis, and monitoring
