Position Overview We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. This role involves designing and developing custom machinery from concept through production while collaborating with project engineers, controls engineers, manufacturing teams, and customers. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver with strong machine design experience and proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor. Key Responsibilities Manage projects from initial concept through production.

Design and release products that meet customer requirements and engineering standards.

Collaborate with sales, customers, and manufacturing teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously.

Communicate project status and escalate issues when necessary.

Maintain accurate engineering documentation and product development records.

Provide occasional travel to customer and manufacturing sites.

Learn and apply the company's machine design and automation processes.

Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.

Minimum 5 years of engineering/design experience , preferably in the packaging industry or a related field.

Proficiency with AutoCAD Design Suite and Autodesk Inventor (3D) .

Strong experience in machine design, layout design, and modern engineering practices.

Proven ability to manage projects from concept through completion.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.

Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.

Must be able to work on-site.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing machinery for the packaging industry.

• Experience with Global Shop MRP software or similar manufacturing software.

• Demonstrated success in custom machine design and automation projects.
