Work within the requirements of internal product development processes including participation in design/project reviews
Design and develop pneumatic and gas delivery systems for semiconductor equipment, including regulators, valves, manifolds, and tubing assemblies
Perform sizing, selection, and specification of pneumatic components to meet performance, cleanliness, and safety standards
Develop schematics, P&IDs, and system layouts using Zuken E3 schematic software
Work closely with mechanical, electrical, process, and controls engineers to ensure seamless system integration
Partner with suppliers and vendors to source high-quality components and develop custom solutions
Ensure compliance with industry and safety standards (SEMI, ISO, etc.) and internal quality requirements
Participate in design reviews and risk assessments (FMEA)
Your Profile B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (or relevant technical degree)
3 or more years of experience in pneumatic system design (semiconductor, vacuum systems, or high-tech equipment preferred)
Strong understanding of:
Fluid dynamics and gas flow behavior
Pressure control systems and regulators
Valves (solenoid, proportional, diaphragm) and actuation systems
Familiarity with cleanroom design constraints and UHP system requirements
Knowledge of deep vacuum systems a plus
Fundamental knowledge of electro-mechanical systems
Proficient in the use of SolidWorks CAD systems and P-schematics software
