About the role
Position Overview Our client is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support and lead the design of electrical systems for commercial, manufacturing, food processing, healthcare, hospitality, education, and corporate facilities. Key Responsibilities • Lead electrical design for new construction and renovation projects • Design power distribution, lighting, grounding, emergency power, and low voltage systems • Support coordination for manufacturing and food processing equipment • Prepare construction documents, calculations, and specifications • Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, process, architectural, and structural teams • Interface directly with clients, contractors, and vendors • Mentor junior engineers and support QA/QC processes • Assist with construction administration and field coordination Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering • 10+ years of progressive experience in a consulting engineering environment • Strong communication skills and experience with construction documentation and client management • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred • Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and applicable energy codes • Proficiency in Revit and electrical design tools • Experience with controls integration and PLC systems is a plus • Manufacturing or industrial facility experience is a plus Compensation & Benefits • $90,000 - $120,000 per year • 401(k) with matching • Health, Dental, Vision Insurance • Health Savings Account • Life Insurance • Employee Assistance Program • Paid Time Off • Retirement Plan
