About the role
As a Production Planner in our company, your role will involve planning and executing production schedules for core-coil assembly, winding (LV/HV), and tank fabrication. You will be responsible for monitoring shop floor activities to ensure productivity and process compliance. Supervising fabrication processes, including cutting, bending, welding, and machining, will also be a key part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure proper insulation, conductor handling, and winding techniques as per design specifications. - Coordinate with design and quality teams for drawings, BOMs, and inspection requirements. - Maintain process parameters and ensure adherence to SOPs and work instructions. - Identify and troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime. - Ensure material availability and coordinate with stores and procurement. - Implement basic lean manufacturing and 5S practices. - Maintain production records, daily reports, and rejection analysis. Qualifications Required: - Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering. - 25 years of experience in transformer manufacturing.
