About the role

As a security engineer, your responsibilities will include: - Executing manual penetration testing engagements on various web applications/services and software. - Developing other security engineers. - Advising management on violations or negligence towards defined standards in tested targets. - Providing actionable remediation feedback for findings and long-term risk mitigation guidance. - Communicating clearly with developers on issues and verifying the effectiveness of solutions. - Collaborating with developers to enhance application security based on security assessment engagements. To qualify for this role, you should have: - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related fields, or equivalent professional experience. - 5+ years of experience in penetration testing, code review, bug bounty hunting, or red teaming/capture the flag. - Proficiency in scripting languages like Python for building automation tools. - 5+ years of professional experience in web application security, network security, authN/authZ protocols, cryptography, automation, and software security. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
