We are building a new team to support the migration of our large-scale on-premise software platform to AWS. As a Senior Cloud Software Engineer, you will modernise existing applications, refactor legacy code for cloud optimisation, and build new cloud-native services where needed. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a mix of cloud migration efforts, greenfield development and proof-of-concept projects. Responsibilities Develop and maintain cloud-based applications and services using AWS and .NET technologies. Participate in design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software. Write clean, maintainable code and automated tests. Support the migration of legacy systems to AWS. Analyse and refactor legacy code for cloud compatibility. Design and implement API migration strategies. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum 6-7 Years of Experience Strong C# Development: Solid experience building applications using C# and .NET. AWS Experience: Practical experience using AWS services in development or production environments (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS). Familiarity with Agile development practices and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with legacy system modernisation or refactoring. Experience with API design and RESTful service migration. Desirable (Nice to Have) Front-End Frameworks: Experience with Angular 2+, React, or Vue.js. Knowledge of migration patterns (lift-and-shift, re-platform, re-architect). Exposure to infrastructure as code (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform). Experience with Docker, GitHub Actions, or monitoring tools like Datadog.
