As the Data Science Lead at a large NBFC in South India, you will have the opportunity to oversee the Analytics department and the AI space. Your responsibilities will include leading various analytics initiatives and managing a team of analytics and MIS specialists. Here are some key areas you will be involved in: - Customer analytics: You will work on customer segmentation to better understand customer behavior. - Risk analytics: Monitoring portfolio risks will be an essential part of your role. - Business development analytics: Utilizing customer data for lead development and product need assessment will help in market research for new geographies and products. - Process analytics: Analyzing business processes to identify and correct inefficiencies will be crucial for operational improvements. - MIS: Managing and analyzing data to improve business processes and decision-making. You should possess strong technical skills and have a deep involvement in projects related to AI, ML, NLP, and Gen AI. Additionally, you will also be involved in the following specific projects: - Product Owner - OSINT Tool: Architecting the development of a query-based OSINT platform to streamline open-source data aggregation and improve user workflows. - Text Summarizer: Fine-tuning the PEGASUS transformer model on domain-specific datasets to enhance text summarization quality for efficient extraction of key insights. - Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) System: Developing a scalable system using Milvus and large language models to boost response relevance and enable real-time query handling. These projects will involve collaborating with stakeholders, defining requirements, integrating feedback, and utilizing analytics to drive continuous enhancement for increased user adoption and data-driven decision-making.
