As the Associate Director of Product Management at Wayfair, you will play a crucial role in shaping and scaling the global core customer data infrastructure, frameworks, and services. Your responsibilities will include partnering with various teams to drive product strategy, roadmaps, and delivery across customer journeys. You will also be leading a team of product managers based in Bangalore and ensuring the quality of customer data. Key Responsibilities: - Define and execute a rolling multi-team product vision, strategy, and platform roadmap with an 18-month horizon. - Author cohesive platform strategy and guide cross-pod prioritization and sequencing. - Own end-to-end product lifecycle from problem discovery through launch using data-driven decision making. - Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product managers (typically 24 direct reports). - Influence executive stakeholders and own senior-level stakeholder alignment across the organization. - Drive alignment across Engineering, Design, Data Science, and business functions. Qualifications Required: - 10+ years of product management experience in an agile development environment. - 3+ years in leadership roles managing teams and/or other product managers. - Proven track record launching and scaling complex, customer-facing products & platforms. - Ability to define and communicate platform-level strategy & how it will unlock multiple business objectives in concert to both executives and engineers. - Strong technical fluency; comfortable partnering with senior engineering and data science teams. Ability to identify 1-way vs. 2-way door decisions & de-risk complex builds. - Data-driven mindset with exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills. - Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities at the executive level. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
