Node.js / MERN Stack Developer

As a brilliant and extraordinary Node.js developer, you will primarily focus on building scalable web applications and REST APIs. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications using Node.js. - Developing server-side applications using Node.js frameworks such as Express.js, NestJS, or similar. - Building and maintaining RESTful and GraphQL APIs. - Designing, optimizing, and managing PostgreSQL and/or MySQL databases. - Collaborating with frontend developers to integrate APIs with React.js and Next.js applications. - Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices. - Participating in code reviews, debugging, performance optimization, and deployment activities. - Working closely with product, design, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions. - Troubleshooting and resolving application issues in a timely manner. The qualifications required for this role are as follows: - 23 years of hands-on experience in Node.js development. - Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and asynchronous programming concepts. - Experience with Node.js frameworks such as Express.js, NestJS, or similar Node.js-based frameworks. - Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL. - Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and GraphQL APIs. - Working knowledge of React.js and/or Next.js. - Good understanding of database design and query optimization. - Familiarity with Git and version control systems. - Understanding of software development best practices and Agile methodologies. Preferred skills that would be beneficial for this role: - Experience working on eCommerce, Marketplace, or Multi-Vendor platforms. - Knowledge of TypeScript. - Experience with Redis, caching mechanisms, or message queues. - Familiarity with Docker, AWS, or cloud-based deployments. - Understanding of microservices architecture. - Experience with authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT and OAuth.
