About the role
Role Overview: You will be a Machine Learning (ML) Lead responsible for leading ML initiatives, driving innovation, building a new ML team, and promoting a culture of mentorship and collaboration. Your role will involve exploring and developing regulatory technology (RegTech) solutions, delivering impactful ML-powered systems, and managing projects from inception through deployment. Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and implement machine learning models for various applications including RegTech solutions, predictive analytics, natural language processing, and computer vision - Foster innovation by testing and applying state-of-the-art algorithms and frameworks to address complex challenges - Enhance models to ensure scalability, efficiency, and suitability for real-time deployment - Create and oversee comprehensive ML pipelines covering data acquisition, preprocessing, model training, deployment, and ongoing monitoring - Adopt MLOps best practices such as continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) and model versioning - Establish and manage a high-performing machine learning team, providing mentorship, setting clear objectives, and cultivating a collaborative culture - Investigate and develop innovative machine learning techniques to address challenges in RegTech and compliance - Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure machine learning initiatives align with business objectives and compliance requirements - Conduct research to advance the use of machine learning within RegTech and maintain comprehensive documentation of models, pipelines, and workflows Qualification Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related discipline (PhD preferred) - Over 7 years of experience in ML/AI with a proven history of successful model deployment - More than 3 years of experience in team leadership or mentorship - Proficiency with machine learning frameworks, MLOps platforms, cloud services, Python programming, and big data technologies - Strong leadership, mentoring, and team-building capabilities - Excellent problem-solving skills and outstanding communication abilities If you are passionate about innovation, have a strong background in machine learning, and are eager to lead a team in developing advanced ML and RegTech solutions, this role as an ML Lead offers you the opportunity to address impactful challenges and be part of a collaborative and innovation-oriented environment.
