About the role
As a software developer with 7-9 years of experience in startups during their growth phase, you will be responsible for leading the scaling of a multi-tenant SaaS software architecture to support 10 million students. Your key responsibilities will include: - Continuously measuring system performance and performing tuning to achieve optimal results. - Ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions. - Striving for engineering excellence and maintaining high standards of quality. - Enhancing the software development lifecycle (SDLC) process through technical contributions. - Analyzing product requirements to define non-functional requirements and proposing both short-term and long-term solutions with high-level estimates. - Independently managing your task list and schedule without supervision, delivering timely results supported by metrics. - Working closely with engineering teamsincluding Developers, QA, DevOps, and UX/UIto ensure a seamless development process. - Communicating technical solutions clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Qualifications required for this role include: - Hands-on experience in building and scaling systems using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, MySQL, SQS, Redis, NoSQL databases, and web services. - Background in developing ERP software products with solid knowledge of cloud infrastructure. - Proven track record of delivering end-to-end projects with clearly defined impact metrics. - Experience developing microservices capable of handling over 100 queries per second in production environments. - Minimum of 3 years experience leading or mentoring senior developers. - Experience with ReactJS is a plus. - Experience in enterprise SaaS environments is a plus. - Demonstrated expertise leveraging AI tools and implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.
