About the role
As a Technical Lead at one of Weekday's clients located in Bengaluru and Chennai, your role will involve driving end-to-end technical execution within Agile PODs. You will be responsible for mentoring engineers, ensuring high-quality delivery, and aligning the architectural vision with practical implementation. The ideal candidate for this position is hands-on, cooperative, and capable of leading teams through complex technical challenges. Key Responsibilities: - Lead, guide, and mentor engineering teams to ensure high performance and technical excellence. - Enforce coding standards, best practices, and robust development processes. - Drive Agile POD execution with strong ownership of tasks, sprint goals, and delivery timelines. - Collaborate closely with Architects and Product Owners to translate designs and business requirements into actionable technical tasks. - Oversee planning, development, testing, and deployment activities across the POD. - Coach junior engineers and support their growth through technical guidance and feedback. - Identify gaps in processes, propose improvements, and implement automation to streamline workflows. Qualification Required: - 6+ years of experience in software development. - Strong expertise in Angular along with proficiency in Java or Python. - Solid understanding of databases including MongoDB, SQL, and NoSQL systems. - Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and POD-based delivery models. - Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent mentoring skills. In addition to the required qualifications, exposure to e-commerce or OOH ad-tech environments, experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, and proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and performance dashboards are preferred. This role offers a competitive salary range of Rs ******* - Rs ******* (INR ***** LPA) and requires a minimum of 6 years of experience in the field.
