Website Designer (UI & Motion-led Web Design)

As a Website Designer at one of Weekday's clients, your role will involve crafting visually compelling and user-centric digital experiences with a focus on UI and Motion-led Web Design. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing high-quality website interfaces that are visually appealing, user-friendly, and aligned with brand guidelines. - Creating wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma. - Developing motion concepts and micro-interactions to enhance usability, storytelling, and user engagement. - Designing responsive web experiences optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. - Collaborating with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs and animations. - Working closely with marketing and content teams to create landing pages, campaign websites, and digital experiences. - Conducting design reviews and iterating based on stakeholder feedback and user insights. - Maintaining and contributing to design systems, component libraries, and UI standards. - Staying updated with the latest trends in web design, motion graphics, user experience, and digital interactions. - Ensuring consistency, accessibility, and usability across all digital touchpoints. Required Skills: Must-Have Skills: - Strong expertise in Figma for creating wireframes, prototypes, design systems, and high-fidelity UI designs. - Excellent understanding of UI design principles such as layout, typography, color theory, visual hierarchy, responsive design, and user-centered design. - Ability to create engaging animations, transitions, micro-interactions, and motion-driven web experiences. Preferred Qualifications: - 26 years of professional experience in website design, UI design, or digital product design. - Strong portfolio showcasing modern website designs and motion-led user experiences. - Understanding of UX principles and conversion-focused design practices. - Experience with designing landing pages, marketing websites, and interactive digital experiences. - Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and modern front-end frameworks is a plus. - Knowledge of animation tools like After Effects, Rive, Principle, or similar tools. - Experience working with design systems and component-based design methodologies. - Ability to balance creativity with business goals and technical feasibility.
