As a Senior Analytics Consultant in the Home Lending Business Insights and Reporting team at Wells Fargo, you will be responsible for delivering projects and reports according to business priorities. Your role will require you to be a technical expert in data analytics, insights, and reporting, with proficiency in tools such as Power BI, SQL (Teradata, SQL Server, etc.), and MS Office tools. It is essential for you to have a sound understanding of US Home Mortgage Origination, Servicing, and Capital Markets. Experience with additional tools like SAP BO, SSRS, Tableau, Alteryx, QlikSense, Python, Toad, etc. would be advantageous. Key Responsibilities: - Work as a technical expert to deliver high-quality analysis, reports, and insights. - Deep dive into data to identify reasons for variations in key metrics trends in monthly reports and data marts. - Clearly understand and communicate business requirements by leveraging domain understanding and deliver results highlighting the business problem and relevant decision levers. - Identify and utilize appropriate analytical approaches to provide data-driven recommendations. - Support various data-related activities such as data migrations, system transitions, data mapping, and documentation in alignment with policies and governance. - Conduct research, analysis, and development of risk data fields, data marts, and metadata. - Ensure adherence to data management and governance regulations and policies. - Proactively conduct root cause analysis and seek guidance on problem-solving when issues arise. Qualifications Required: - 4+ years of experience in Analytics or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education. Desired Qualifications: - Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data manipulation tools like SQL. - Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for strategic decisions. - Collaboration with stakeholders to develop and implement data strategies. - Familiarity with SAP BO and SSRS. - Certifications in BI Reporting tools Data Management or Data Engineering would be beneficial. - Understanding of lending products, home lending industry trends, and business drivers. - Detail-oriented, results-driven, and able to navigate a changing environment with multiple priorities. - Quick learner, able to multitask and prioritize projects. - Dedicated, enthusiastic, driven, and performance-oriented with a strong work ethic and team player mentality.
