About the role
In this role as a Senior Analytics Consultant at Wells Fargo, you will consult, review, and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factors. You will perform moderately complex data analysis to support and drive strategic initiatives and business needs. Additionally, you will develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data-driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements. You will also lead or participate in large cross-group projects, mentor less experienced staff, and collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals. Key Responsibilities: - Consult, review, and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges - Perform data analysis to support strategic initiatives and business needs - Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes - Lead or participate in large cross-group projects - Mentor less experienced staff - Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and mid-level managers Qualifications Required: - 4 years of Analytics experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education - Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in reporting, analytics, or modeling - Bachelors degree; post-graduation in engineering or equivalent is preferable - Strong knowledge and understanding of complex databases (Teradata, DB2, Oracle, MS SQL, etc.) - Expertise in programming utilities (SAS/SQL, Python, etc.) - Experience in business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) - Experience in reports and dashboards (Excel), Automation (Macro, RPA, etc.) - Experience in Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) and Predictive assessments using Machine Learning techniques - Experience with Agile development approach, source control (GitHub), and issue/project tracking (JIRA) About the Company: At Wells Fargo, diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace are valued.
