Role Overview: As a Senior Business Intelligence Consultant at Wells Fargo, you will lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives within the Business Intelligence functional area. Your contributions will play a key role in large-scale planning related to business intelligence deliverables, enabling clear and consistent delivery of insights. You will review and analyze business, operational, or technical challenges, leveraging data interpretation and visualization methods to create diagnostic analytics and dashboards. Independently resolving issues, you will lead the team to meet data-related deliverables, developing intuitive outputs to inform decisions and strategy. Your solid understanding of data structures and domain-specific knowledge will impact the final data visualization product, including dashboards, reports, insights, or analyses. Collaborating with peers and colleagues, you will assess business needs and produce actionable insights and trends using data visualization and business intelligence. In addition, you will lead projects, teams, and mentor lower-level staff, working towards driving adoption of insights and metrics for data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements for use cases. - Develop and deliver end-to-end high-performing reporting solutions and data analysis. - Perform exploratory analysis to identify correlations in the data and generate insights. - Utilize data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau to deliver analysis results and insights. - Conduct ad-hoc analyses, drill down into data inconsistencies, and perform root cause analysis for unusual trends. - Work closely with Business and Technology Partners to generate new BI solutions or optimize current work products. - Evaluate different types of AI/ML outputs and models, breaking down complex business problems into sub-tasks solvable with BI and analytics. - Communicate model algorithms and outputs to non-technical users through visualization and BI tools. - Integrate AI-enabled features into end-user consumption interfaces for natural language-led analysis. - Demonstrate proficiency in agile ways of working and project management practices, creating efficient user stories and agile artifacts. Qualification Required: - 4+ years of business intelligence and data visualization experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education. - 6+ years of overall experience in reporting, analytics, or modeling; or a Masters degree or higher in a quantitative field. - Proficiency in designing and implementing complex and interactive dashboards with BI tools like Power BI and Tableau. - Experience in data cleansing, validation, and transformation logic using tools like Alteryx and SSMS. - Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Exposure to data science, ML, and AI concepts. - Ability to translate analytical data into useful business insights through presentation and storytelling. - Self-driven and passionate about continuous learning.
